Because we can’t help people who don’t want to help themselves. And nothing will ever change that. Your “it takes a village” spirit is pointless if the ones you’re trying to help aren’t interested in changing. Thats why NBR is a shithole within a shithole. There is little to no real effort to change. Lots of platitudes are given, but no real change in behavior or the reaction to that behavior by NBR residents.
There ain’t shite the rest of us can do about that.

The citizens of that community don’t care. The leaders of that community don’t care. The phony racist fricks in BLM don’t care. Jesse doesn’t care. Al doesn’t care. Neither does Colin. Or Nike. Or Amazon. The media cares as long as it bleeds.
We’re gonna put BLM on jerseys and play the black national anthem. That’s gonna good for a 15% drop in crime, at least. You have some politicians in DC that want to tear this country down and rebuild as socialist. That’s going to work real well.

At least if a policeman was doing some of the shooting we would have 15-20 full length videos with the policeman’s name, badge number, and how many hairs he had on his head. But, sadly, in this incident the camera was lowered when the shooting started so as not to implicate any of the individuals involved, that no one saw or could identify. And so the hits just keep on coming.

The only thing that works is massive police crackdowns on crime in these neighborhoods. Giuliani did this in NYC and was wildly successful. It's just ugly and will never fly in today's political climate.
With people like Broome and Paul in charge it will never happen.
The best thing you can do for you and your family is to just move away from it when it starts getting closer to where you live.
