Hey guys our city is a fricking shithole with 9 people shot! Can I make hilarious mask jokes though? That’s all we care about

I applaud the groups effort to meet and go over how they can make the community better, but that late at night?
Most likely it started with arguing over who was going to pick up trash, who was going to head up painting and yard maintenance, vs. who was going to look around the house for materials and books that younger children could use, and then who was going to head up the back to school supplies drive, vs. who was going to lead a Peer mentoring youth group. I can see how too many cooks could be in the kitchen, then boom, gunfire.

If they only had more grocery stores in NBR.

We need social workers to respond to the scene and handle this.

I honestly don't care what is going on at Plank and Evangeline at 3am.

I don’t either, but at the same time crimes are at a startling rate all over the country. BUT police brutality is the cause of all of this??????????

Yeah, it's stupid. There were something like 9 unarmed black people killed by the cops last year.
I'm not saying bad cops shouldn't be dealt with but the same number of people got shot at this gas station in 2 minutes by other black people and..... crickets.

There's actually a group trying to figure out why there's no economic development in North Baton Rouge. How many of their members read about this shooting

What are you doing to make it less of a shithole?

Sorry. I should’ve said *your city
It’s just funny to me people don’t care about crime in their city as long as it’s in the back people community and not theirs. But as soon as those black people commit a crime in their neighborhoods people care then. Maybe stoping at the source would help?

I wonder why
That area has been a violent shithole for 30+ years and the locals, who often know who committed the shootings, won't cooperate with law enforcement to have them arrested. They don't care. Why should I?

Has gravy weighed in?

These guys need some range time

Yeah because absolutely none of the residents there care about it at all. I’m sure you care about it when they come into your Lilly white neighborhoods and commit crimes though.
