Forgive my ignorance, but will mosquitoes be able to transmit this virus? Not being a panic person, just curious

A group of U.S. and Iranian researchers concluded that the places Covid-19 infection has mostly taken hold so far -- such as Wuhan in central China, Milan and Seattle -- share similarly mild humidity and temperatures ranging from about 5 to 11 degrees Celsius (41 to 52 degrees Fahrenheit) in winter. In hotter, more humid places like Bangkok the virus has mainly been seen in people who brought it in from outside, and has not spread quickly through the community, the researchers said.
Thailand has had 70 cases.
The last 11, which was the largest jump in one day, came from a group of 15 drinking buddies who went out while sick.
The very minimal data is pointing in that direction, but it is too early to make a definitive statement.

How many cases in Singapore are travel vs. community spread? A virus this contagious should be ripping through a densely populated city like that. What is going on in AZ and SoCal? Texas? By all rights, all of these places should have a ton of cases and community spread. It may turn out that way. We'll just have to wait and see.

And you are extremely wrong about viral transmission in hot/humid climes. I can name several, and you can too.
He's not saying that transmission in hot/humid climates is impossible, just the it will slow.

And yet it was all in response to when I corrected another poster who stated

all viruses don't spread as easily in warm/humid weather.
Which is not true. As I said.

We still see viral infections in the summertime.
That is what we call a summer cold, but we don’t have rampant viral infections like we do in the winter.
We may see a viral gastroenteritis outbreak, but that is about it.

And scruffy wants to talk unrelated viruses.
So to the poster who says tropical conditions halt spread of all viruses, we can talk about insect borne illnesses all damn day. Similarly irrelevant, but definitely true of a shite TON of viruses.
I said: we have no real evidence yet that this is seasonal.
So therefore implying that no action is needed and that it will go away when flowers start popping up... well that's an interesting way to play russian roulette

Where is your data to support its not?

No one has any, affirmative or otherwise. We haven't completed a season and it is novel.
I'm saying don't panic and also don't be falsely confident and make a definitive assertion.
Wait and see the data, in the meantime we need to identify and contain. Everyone can agree on that.

Also it has to do with the warmer climate allows people to be outside more and not in each other's personal space as much
Then mandatory quarantines for non victims seems to be a terrible idea.
