I could tell even with the video on mute that those are two shitty songs. I’m thankful I clicked out of each of them in the first thirty seconds.

Was listening to MV last night. Bass drop at the beginning is potentially the greatest moment in musical history. The way the muckraking scumbag journalists attacked Mr. Milli and Mr. Vanilli was beyond human decency. One of them is dead now, and no one has apologized to the other one.

Journey - Separate Ways

Yeah...this one is the ultimate 80s “we gotta get a damn video together quick and get it on MTV” videos.

It has everything! Solid selection.

No discussion of ‘80s videos can be made without referencing this one-

This one is my favorite. I will never not laugh at it. See if you can get through the first minute without cracking up.

The separate ways video is more parody than This Is Spinal Tap. Great song though. I was mortified when sorority girls stole Journey in the mid-90s.

I don’t remember that Modern Talking video, but that’s gotta be the winner lol

Separate Ways was actually in heavy rotation on MTV. In the early 80’s. But it definitely hasn’t aged well lol

FYI, for some reason they shot that video on the New Orleans river front....Maybe they were in town for a concert because it doesn’t seem like the old warehouses are central to the “ plot” of the video.

Take on me - by aha?

Sledgehammer - Peter Gabriel, I think.

I loathed mtv as an 80s kid. I recall liking songs then hating them once I saw how stupid the band or video looked. I was a ball of fun. Smh
