I’m to the point where I’m just gonna fly everywhere. If it’s over 6 hours I’ll take my chances in the friendly skies.

You a broker?

I worked for a Transportation Mgt System software company. The brokerage world is one I couldn’t imagine living in: carrier qualifications, stealing loads, double brokering, etc, etc. It’s the wild Wild West.

I’m trying to figure out how these illiterate drivers and companies get commercial insurance. Insurance carriers aren’t known for their ease to bind without the proverbial anal exam aka supplement applications.

@FMCSA is also investigating the carrier, Cargo Transportation LLC

The same email address used for all 700 companies in California was WTFFMSCA@AOL.COM, mocking the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA).

Proof positive that the U.S. is indeed the land of opportunity when a guy from one of the poorest countries on Earth and who probably doesn't speak English can come here and buy a $200,000 truck with no problem.

In the industry, this is quite common. So much so that when setting up a new carrier company I always double check their listed address, many times just googling the address shows 10+ different businesses listed at the exact same address.

This could very well be a legit explanation.

However, that doesn't mean there isn't a whole hella lot of fraud going on as well. Both could be true.

I've found companies that started out with the Dad, then mom, then the kids. Who are barely legal. It's a problem that needs to be stopped.

Is this a registration service for people who are independent truckers who live on the road?

Most likely a lawyers office who is a registered agent and caters to owner operators.
