Ah yeah all those Biden policies have caused what we’re seeing wait a second the dude hasn’t really done shite. It’s almost like the problems facing the US are mainly due to outside factors like the supply chain as well as years of establishment politics screwing over the people.

You're so fricking dumb that it's a wonder that you are able to tie your shoes.

Hispanics have never voted, not once, Republican at a higher rate than Democrat so that is just a ridiculous statement to make.

Greg Abbott beat Lupe Valdez with hispanics in Texas.

A new Quinnipiac University poll on Tuesday—the first this season to measure sentiment among likely voters in Texas instead of simply registered voters—shows that Hispanics actually prefer Abbott to Valdez. Hispanic respondents, in fact, preferred the incumbent Republican by a margin of 49 percent to 45 percent over Valdez.

A republican just won the Brownsville area which is impossible without the majority of hispanic vote.

A poll means nothing.

I will concede the RGV victory but we will see what happens in the next election which is only a few months away. I suspect the only reason mayra Flores won is because not many people voted.

I hope the border counties stay red but I don’t see it happening. Although tejanos are more conservative than more recent Mexican immigrants so it is possible I reckon

Agreed. I couldn’t find the actual vote numbers, so that’s what I had to go on.

Other evidence is McAllen voting in a Republican mayor and Henry Cuellar maintaining the Democrat nomination. Cuellar is a democrat but the most conservative one in Congress.

My goal is never a red wave, it’s to have better democrats. I don’t want republicans in power either because they are almost as terrible or worst, I’d just rather have a 100 Henry Cuellars out there than one AOC or MTG.

My general impression of tejano culture and voting is that people proud of their heritage, but also love America tend to be more conservative. People that are embarrassed of their heritage and hate America tend to be very progressive.

I.e. most of the Hispanics that are liberal tend to act very white and marry white liberal women.

I think 90% of Hispanics in south texas marry other Hispanics yet most counties seem to go blue. But I agree with your analysis. A lot of Hispanics hate Trump because they think he hates them. I think somebody like desantis could hopefully make Hispanics go red on a national level (and especially in south texas)

You can thank puerto ricans for that, too. Never met one that wasn't an avowed leftist.

My fiance and her entire family are from Puerto Rico and are conservative, but push more libertarian than anything. Government corruption runs rampant in Puerto Rico. They all moved to the mainland in the last 10 years looking for better opportunities. They found them and never looked back. While they enjoy visits to Puerto Rico, none of them ever wish to live there again.

Now second and third generations of Puerto Ricans are extreme left, especially in NYC. My roommate and his family was an exception to that in NYC. His parents were very conservative. Dad from DR and mom was from PR. Sort of the same thing, his parents left the islands for better opportunities and found them. They already own another house in Stuart, FL and plan to retire there in the next year or so.

I had a coworker who was first generation Puerto Rico and moved to NYC as a child and then joined the military.

That dude was way more of a theocratic right wing fascist than I could ever dream of being.

In some ways Mexico is definitely better. Cheaper, more family values, better weather. If you can manage to avoid the cartel it is a great place and honestly if the cartel wasn’t a huge problem you would probably see more Americans moving to Mexico than vice versa.

Monterrey would be a really cool, vibrant city if the cartels were suppressed like they are here. A lot of American businesses would set up shop there, and they would get way more tourism and Americans passing through.

Wake me up when they vote at a higher rate than republicans than democrats. Just because they don’t like woke agenda doesn’t mean they will vote republican more than democrats

The same percentage of groomers that want the same thing? You act like 2016 never happened.

Personally, I would take one of those 70% over the likes of you and your ilk any day of the week. At least these people want to actually build something and take pride in it. All your group does is destroy everything while pointing the finger at the imaginary white boogeyman.

keep playing that “it doesn’t matter card”. If 20% of AA voting block flips or a quarter of the HA voting block flips, it’s over with. And by all signs, that is happening everyday as Dims push the progressive horseshite further and further

Well if your Hispanic family is all conservative that must mean all Hispanics are conservatives.

I am Hispanic too numb nuts. If you talked to more than 5 a year you would realize they are mostly democrats.
