Please add that all the cartoons and books about the sweet pigs and rabbits are all lies. If you allow the child to eat meat tell the about the dead cows, pigs and chicken that die for them. All kids shows are BS. All the songs they learn are also lies.
Finally take them to a graveyard and tell them this is where they will be in the end.

Please tell me someone else is/had been responsible for teaching your kids logical reasoning. Let's play a game of count the fallacies.

Dude, if your kids feeling of being unconditionally loved is in anyway determined by the season of Christmas or the actions of "Santa" then Christmas is the least of your problems.

Watching a sleepy 6 year old run down the stairs at 6:00 am on Christmas morning to see what Santa brought is one of life's little treasures.

For those of you citing this reason, keep in mind that kids would also get this excited if you offered them unlimited lifetime candy

Does that mean they should have unlimited candy? Nope.

At a time when everything about Christmas has become commercialized and kids seem to care only about how many gifts they can receive, I think it's refreshing to see parents who recognize and promote the true reason for the season.

I have a 7 year old daughter and a 3 month old son. We were able to give our kids a very nice Christmas and Santa was very good to them. She was overjoyed by her loot. And despite all she got, my daughter was more interested in interacting with her little brother on his first Christmas. She opened his presents and showed him everything and made a huge deal out of everything for him. When I took her shopping on Black Friday, she used some of her birthday money to buy her brother a present. When I told her I’d pay for it, she insisted that she would use her money to buy him a gift.

If your kids act like ungrateful shits, they are a reflection of your shitty parenting. Kids will learn all too soon how tough reality is. They should be able to keep their innocence for as long as possible.

Keep the magic alive while you can. It is such a short window, like the magic time before hey start to walk. Soak up the time. Stomp ont he roof while Mom declairs, “its Santa, get to bed quick”; open the sun roof & have the, seeing sleigh dust before you get home. Let the, believe as long as you can & when they do accept the truth, they will remember those on,ents forever ...... and carry it on with there’s.

Do you have a child, Pecker (meaning one you have a relationship and assist with caring for)?
