5 am should be fine. Gives you an hour to get through security. Do you already have your parking pass?
Edit: looks like you do. Yeah 5 will be plenty early.

6:00ish boarding with precheck getting to the airport a 5:30 should be limit. If you are parking, get to US Park on Veterans by 5.

I flew out this evening at 750(en route to Denver now). For the first time I can remember I had zero people in front of me (Tsa precheck). Was kinda weird.
. Tomorrow morning I imagine it'll be chaos.

You don’t have these issues with private.

Traveling on the actual holiday is a veteran move. Crowds are quite normal. You should be proud.

Lol show up at 5:15-5:30 and you’ll be fine to get there and get a little breakfast/drink before boarding. MSY for the most part is a breeze unless you do an afternoon flight or after a saints game

I flew out of there on Thanksgiving day a few years ago to LA. Crowd wasn’t too bad at all

I used to fly on thanksgiving day for years. It is never busy. Give yourself a good 60-70 minutes and you’ll be fine.

Are you retarded? Youre pre checked. They board at least 30 minutes early. Why would you not be there at least an hr before? Like standing in the airport a full hr before.

Are you poor or do you have clear and precheck?

I have never seen much of a rush at any airport on the actual day of any holiday. Airports have always been deader than shite.
One problem I have had however, is the airlines canceling flights. Regardless of what they tell you, if a flight is not profitable, they won’t be flying.

I could have stayed at the casino for another hour. Literally not a single person ahead of me in pre check line. Parking to bar in 9 minutes.

Now do City Homicide/Violent Crime Rate per 100,000 Residents for Kenner

We flew from Fort Myers through ATL to Pensacola last night and it was one of the quietest times I've seen the ATL airport

Or, why not look up the murder/homicides for just the 1,500 acres, or so, that MSY occupies. Jeeze…

You should be walking through the front door of the airport 1 hour before boarding
