Teacher was off and it was a substitute. Additionally, the principal they all want fired wasn’t there that day, and immediately called the mother when she found out what the sub did.

The kid also had a history of doing this, and had a stomach virus that day and was sent to school in a pull-up by the mother anyway. Mom’s looking for a payout.

If my 6 yo shits himself at school, all of the staff have my permission to make him clean it up. He knows better. He’s 6, not 4.

I got a feeling there's going to be some defamation lawsuits coming out of this.

A resident pot stirrer in Zachary posted the teacher picture on FB, who was not the one involved. Hopefully this will be the one where he goes too far and gets held accountable for dragging people.

He's already got a restraining order against him, which he quickly violated.

No, the kid constantly drinking milk she has a reaction to is why she shite her pants.

I'm with the teacher on this, enough is enough, the kid needs to stop drinking milk and stay in the classroom.

How many of us have as adults, eaten something regardless of the consequences because we want what we shouldn’t have. A 6 year old with access to milk does not have the self discipline to not drink it.

Did the principle or teacher make her clean it up?

Just saying it sounded like the teacher was in the wrong.

Constantly drinking =/= served to her at school breakfast

quote:

Jamisha Augustine said her daughter has a dairy allergy, but despite this, she drank milk for breakfast at Rollins Place Elementary School and became sick almost immediately.

You're talking about a 6 year old here. She probably drinks non-dairy milk at home and is too young to realize there's a difference between the soy or almond milk she gets at home vs dairy milk that she's not supposed to have.

ETA: i see there may be more to this story based on posts above...

Let me redirect a little. If this was a one time or once in while event, the school fricked up. If this is a regular event (needing to use the bathroom constantly), the parents and child fricked up.
If the parents and the child fricked up and the child was made to clean it without gloves, the school fricked up.

I think this is a reasonable position.

also children with known allergies who still like milk and cheese and will drink/eat it if someone gives it to them knowing they should not have it.

I don't disagree, but I've also seen the list of "allergies" at my kid's preschool. Filled with shite like pineapple, peaches, chicken, "fish," blueberries, rice, etc. Preferences aren't allergies, but parents gotta be helicopter parents, and burn people out from paying attention to actual allergies. One of my kids doesn't like cheese, but I'd never put that shite on an allergy list.

Yeah

By 6 you should definitely know not to drink milk.

The teacher probably had no idea she drank milk. Kid repeatably went to the bathroom and the teacher was like that's enough after the third or fourth time and probably thought she was up to no good.

There is the more for this story.

Mom needed her free baby sitting and didn't want to keep her kid home sick.
