On the other hand, the kid is a fricking turd and needs the shite slapped out of her for her tantrum. But we can’t do that anymore can we? We’ve got libtard educators being asked to raise the children Of loser parents who won’t take parental responsibility. But try to impose some sort of discipline and accountability and watch the shite storm ensue. SRO did the only thing she could do- legally- to get this future government dependent under control so maybe, just maybe, the other kids could get something out of their day.

We’re dealing with primitive people here folks. Primitive responses are necessary at times. Even if they seem overboard.

Good. If parents won't parent someone needs to.

Because a six-year-old kid doesn't belong in jail charged with a misdemeanor. Suspend her. Expel her. But don't throw her in jail.

I don’t know if that’s an option anymore. If it isn’t , what do you suggest be done with her?

in jail someone will make sure she is fed and kept safe.

Suspend her or expel her to where? On her own? That would play well

Is Florida just arse backwards in every aspect?

Even LA realizes how stupid arresting a kindergarten age child is.

Probably not permitted under the rules. Disproportionate numbers of ebony scholars get suspended and expelled, sort of like too many felony convictions, the system is racist.

Actually, getting them into the judicial system for misbehavior is the only way to get them out of the class, If they screw up on the school bus it is even easier.

I also doubt the accuracy of the report by the dysfunctional grandmother.

there was a parent who threatened legal action at our school when the teacher had to basically drag a screaming kid out of class and to the office. now they have to have the resource officer present along with the principal when dealing with kids that need to be escorted out the office. blame stupid parents for the world we live in

I would be willing to bet this wasn't her first tantrum. Most schools will go through all kinds of steps before doing something drastic like this. If all the steps weren't working what do you do. This probably isn't a kid that had one bad day and a solitary meltdown.

Cry me a river you bleeding- heart piece of shite. It’s attitudes like yours that perpetuate and enable bad behavior that ruins the educational opportunities of the other kids. Yes, kids throw tantrums. And if her parents/parent disciplined her, she wouldn’t be throwing them in school. But they didn’t.
They elected to let the school system raise their child. So this is how the school system does it. They let a cop- which we shouldn’t even have to have at a school- address this kids behavior in the (likely) only manner she legally can. Why? Cause people just like you make excuses for this shite and claim it’s acceptable cause “all” kids do it.
