A Piper PA24 is a single engine prop plane. I will never fly in a single engine plane. The chances of losing two engines are pretty slim and at least you can fly with just one engine.

Some twins are underpowered, making them more dangerous than a single engine plane.

Just imagine if you’re like me and have played golf near an airport. Literally shaking.

I have played golf next to an airport. The Ole Miss course in Oxford has a couple of holes parallel to the runway of the Oxford International Airport, HairCare, and Tire Center. The planes weren't much of a distraction since I don't think you can land anything much bigger than a butterfly there.

You wouldn't know a close call if it smacked you in the face.

I drank Arizona Iced Tea last week on an airplane while flying over a golf course.

I'm living life to the fullest from now on.

If you do a little research, you will learn that the second engine will fly you right to the scene of the crash.

Actually with a twin engine, you have doubled your chances for an engine failure, and many light piston twins have poor single engine performance, as in being able to maintain altitude long enough to make it to a airport or being able gain enough altitude on one engine after takeoff and return to land after a engine has failed. "The second engine is there to fly you to the scene of the crash" is a common saying. There have been a couple of studies that have shown the safety record of single engine piston and twin engine piston planes are about the same.

Looks like other posters covered all of this already.

A lot of single engine planes have seating for 6, but in terms of allowable weight that usually means something like 4 adults, 2 kids and no luggage, or 4 adults and luggage. Overloading or improper weigh distribution are not un-common causes of crashes during takeoff.
