Publix is over a dollar higher than Walmart per pepper for the red, orange, or yellow bell peppers.

Sans eggs it’s worse now. MAGA will never admit this though. Anyone who goes to a grocery store knows it’s worse.

That's because they are about to deliver you the old shitty ones that they have to throw in the dumpster tomorrow.

The same people on here that were complaining about high grocery prices under Biden are now defending it for some reason

Same for gasoline.

I’ve thought about Kroger delivery, but I hear that can be even more expensive and often lacks quality in produce selections.

This is a fact.

No one should be defending this. It also shouldn’t be partisan to talk about how gas and groceries are skyrocketing. It affects everyone regardless of your political views.

Why anyone would shop at that expensive arse store for regular groceries is beyond me.

Public or Walmart here.

Prices could double tomorrow and I would still choose publix.

“Bell pepper” is much more expensive than $5.99/lb.

I always come back to Publix because Walmart doesn’t have a good selection for meat and produce and Whole Foods doesn’t have normal dry goods.

At one point we were doing Costco, Walmart pickup, Publix, and Target pickup. It was ridiculous but we were optimizing our grocery budget. Just couldn’t keep up with it.

Costco every 2 weeks and maybe a small run to Kroger or Trader Joes in between if we need anything before the next trip

It’s not just the PT board. All the boards here are full of guys easily making $250k/year. They have fired and hired many people.

For sure.

Liberals didn’t want to even acknowledged inflation during Biden (now granted I think it had to do with multiple presidents spending too much).

Now some conservatives are passing off high fuel prices as a “necessary consequence” (granted that can be debated).

My pepper plants (of various types) started kicking out peppers very early this year.

This said, $5.99 per pound for a pepper is ridiculous BUT peppers don't weigh a lot so you are looking at $2 to 2.75 per pepper.

We quit eating bell peppers for a long time (until I started growing them) because a stomach virus hit us 20 years ago, the most miserable I've ever been. After hearing up the stuffed bell peppers we ate, they just were not appealing any more.
