Did I hear she had Leukemia? If so, even with all that organic food and rigorous work it goes to show no one is immune. Clearly this guy is high functioning. I’d like to know where his boys ended up.

One more comment. How old is this guy? 80's, 90's? Yet he is so child like. Right around the 5 minute mark he's laying on the bed talking about looking up at the rain - he joy is like that of a child. And when he talks about making his bridge and other parts where he walks the land. He's loving every minute like a child making new and wonderful discoveries every day.

I couldn't stop watching it. It kinda reminds me of Alaska the Last Frontier. Just a homesteader that had some land and built a sustainable life with his own ingenuity, two hands, and hard work. Man can live off the land in harmony without abusing it. Like he said, a balance. I like how he talked bad about the lumber companies and the environmentalist alike, as both extremists. You don't have to cut it all down, but it's beneficial to the entire ecology to manage it some. That's why all the huge wildfires out west, they don't want to manage it at all and the whole forest floor looks like a tinder box of dead dried wood that they wont touch or clear out occasionally. It's also ok to cut some timber and replant new trees. It's beneficial to the other trees in the forest and the wildlife to have new growth.
