I cant understand why being a skeptic and asking questions is a problem in yall's mind. What are you so convinced of? More importantly, what makes you think the information you get is valid? Is it because of the reputation of the institutions that are providing the information to you? Has it ever occurred to you to question that reputation? Have you? Because I have. And when you do your findings will shock you and change the way you view the world. Quit being so naive entrusting and protect yourself.

Autism is developed in utero, one or both of the parents supplied some damaged genes, just like every other developmental disorder.

That you can only trust yourself.
Unfortunately, very few of us have the time to dig into the background of every person we encounter, every institution that feeds us information, the news media, their stories, what we see on TV, what we read in books, what we hear on the radio and even what our own friends and family tell us.
The only thing any of us know for sure is what happens right in front of us for us to see, hear and experience first-hand. As far as I'm concerned everything else is suspect. Things that meet the common sense threshold get a little more credibility in my book but yet still unproven.
Y'all are still approaching me as if I'm making some certain claims. I'm only questioning that which I don't know, nay, can't know. This is a prudent way to approach everything in life and it's worked out pretty damn well for me so far. If your blind Trust has been so reliable for you and your life, then good for you. Keep On Keepin On.

And you know this for sure? Were you part of some untainted research team that was truly independent and self-funded?
Please don't quote me some article from some Institution such as the CDC which document after document has shown to be an unreliable and Industry biased source. Not always of course. But certainly from time to time and I don't know about you but once somebody violates my trust it's very hard to earn it back.

Outdated as in they know that if it produces autoimmune responses to a certain level, it will be effective against the flu.

Studies released by the CDC and the independent peer reviewed journals have all come back that it's not vaccines. The neurotissue damage associated with Autism isnt from the vaccines. They have no mechanism to affect it.
Look I did the step dad thing for awhile with a kid with autism. The signs were before the mom the whole time. She admits it. I did the naw boys will be boys thing, but even I knew I was just making excuses for his behavior. But it is what it is. Some people come out with bones wrong some people come out with brains wrong. Sometimes both. Eventually we'll find the common cluster like we've been for other development disorders.

Why is it "blind trust" when we use studies from the CDC, but acting on your gut instinct gives you some sort of enlightened high ground?

That was the last time I had to take off work for several days in a row for sickness. Don't think I have had the flu in a long time.

My employer actually has a couple of nurses come on site and give everyone flu shots.

I think you misunderstood the disclaimer.
Basically, science has proven that if a vaccine can get X to happen, it is effective at preventing Y virus. Fluvlaval, at the time of your image, had been shown to achieve X, so logically, you can assume it would prevent Y. However, a controlled trial that demonstrated it would prevent Y had not been completed, hence the disclaimer.
That's since changed.

A 50% decrease in relative risk in this instance means that any individuals risk of getting the flu decreases from 2‰ to 1%.
Therefore, around 99 people need to get the flu shot to prevent just one person from getting the flu.
Don't you think that's a bit inefficient and a waste of healthcare money that could go to something more productive.
And to Dr. Scruffy who says he's had the shot for 8 years and hasn't gotten the flu...what kind of silly reasoning is this for a medical professional? The chance of not getting the flu is 98% regardless, so how could you determine its the vaccine that helped?
The strains for the vaccine are selected so far in advance that even if influenza virus didn't mutate at a high level, it'd still be highly unlikely to succeed.
