No, but I am advocating that maybe there is more to the story, perhaps much more.

I doubt this was a one time or first time occurrence showing some type of problem with this specific child.

It's easy to see why US kids are falling behind. How can they learn anything with dumbass "educators" like the ones who came up with this bullshite running the schools.

Public school: literally nothing good comes out of it.

This is not a policy at just public schools. My son goes to a private catholic school, and they have a zero tolerance for stuff like this. They warned us in particular, that our kid would be sent home if he were caught making any gun pointing fingers, or sticks or anything resembling or pretend guns.

FTR I think it's bullshite, but you can thank all the school shootings for this type of overreaction policy.

If warned, and she has a history of ignoring the warnings, that's different. But I haven't heard anything like that.

Greasers were the Outsiders.

I stand by my original quote, although now somewhat begrudgingly.

Exactly. The story only tells you what that author wants you know. Not necessarily the whole story or the whole truth.

Well, this is quoted in the story, quotation marks, from the school:

quote:

The school maintained the five-year-old presented a threat to other students as soon as she made a shooting motion with the stick.

A school spokesman told WTVD-TV: 'Hoke County Schools will not tolerate assaults, threats or harassment from any student.

Seems as though if true, mention would have been made that the reason for the suspension was multiple warnings. They say that the 5 year old presented a threat to other students when she pointed a stick and made a threat.

A 5 year old. 5. Pointing a stick. Presents a threat. Think about what they're saying, and how absurd that is. If it was a high schooler? I get that. But 5 year old?

Or it includes the actual statement from the school. Keep supporting stupidity though.

How stupid...it's obvious from the picture that it wasn't loaded.
