A strong argument could probably be made one way or the other, but I do know that beagles have a lot of heart and beagles naturally go bat shite crazy when they see a coyote

Coyotes have some positive attributes and features, but overall they're way smaller than the general public thinks they are and not nearly as formidable.

Are the beagles going to cornhole them to death?

We should just make this the lunch thread, since we are engaging in middle school cafeteria discussions right now on the OT.

Also, coyotes would run off with the first bit of aggressive behavior from the beagles.

You're being generous with calling the lunch thread middle school. More like 2nd grade

We need a thread on "effeminate aggie v. inbred bama fan, who would win"

It appears the OT has ran out of things to talk about.

5 obnoxious posters creating stupid threads vs 2 TD admin staffers.

A strong argument could probably be made that Oweo and Tiger Ryno have created better threads in the past.

I had beagles growing up too. They are very underrated athletes because they look sort of dopey. Their vertical leap is crazy. I also had a beagle that knew how to pecan trees too.

Excellent question. Keep 'em coming.

In this situation, you give the nod to the wild animal. Domesticated dogs, as a general rule have their predatorial/killer instincts either bred out of them or at a minimum, diluted. Their tolerance for pain, compared to wild dogs is far lessened and wild dogs are cunning.

The coyotes win.

Know nothing about beagles but I have witnessed one of our donkeys killing 3 coyotes. First 2 were quick deaths but he played with the last one like a cat does to its prey.

Finally got bored and stomped the last one until it was just a bloody lump of fur.

Hunting beagles are different. I've hunted with beagle packs before. Five hunting beagles would be unlikely to fight two coyotes because the coyotes would run like hell.

Five beagles with hunting bloodlines would frick up two coyotes.

I too grew up with beagles and every dog I ever had was a beagle, until my current dog which is not. However, my elderly neighbor has a beagle that I help take care of, so it's like a beagle nephew. I have plenty of crazy beagle stories, they are crazy dogs. I would take 5 beagles vs 2 coyotes ten out of ten times.

It's the sexually active part that makes this a Pool Board or mmmmcreampie sort of post.

It's weird man.

The beagles would frick up the coyotes if you could get them to fight and not run away from each other. In my experience coyotes will usually run away from any dog about their size.

Speaking of sexualizing beagles, it's strange how female beagles are into dry humping. I had a female beagle named Ellie Jo that would hump anything

Why are you slut shaming the beagles?
