I bet you will be correct. They need it. Argentina has had record low birth rates.

I had a great time at Lombardi Gras but it was maybe 100,000 people. Not that many.

good for them. been a rough couple of years for the folks of BA.

i have a lot of coworkers in that part of the world. And between their 3 year long COVID lockdowns (made California politicians seem conservative) and year in and year out 100% inflation, i'm happy they have a reason to let loose.

They only have one sport

in 2002, the Argentina National Men's team went to Indianapolis for the FIBA World Championship and beat this USA roster:

Michael Finley
Baron Davis
Andre Miller
Jermaine O'Neal
Antonio Davis
Paul Pierce
Reggie Miller
Shawn Marion
Jay Williams
Ben Wallace
Elton Brand
Raef LeFrentz

...which eventually spawned the USA Redeem Team in 2008.

i’m sorry bud. but despite how thrilling the WC Final was. I’d still rather watch a mediocre SEC conference football game. That’s just my personal opinion.

That boring arse snooze fest is popular cause it's all the equipment they can afford, and why they don't have any other sports in most of their countries. If you love it fine, I'm just tired of having it shoved down my throat for weeks on end like I'm some kinda nazi for thinking it's a lame-arse sport.

Still doesn't prove anything. This would be like the crowd turning out for a New York Yankees world series.
