Have these freaks just been charged? The Advocate article is dated June, 2018 and reports the abuse started in 2015 and found out in 2016. This is two years ago, I would love to know what DP’s current situation is.

I read these stories and it really makes me contemplate quitting my job and joining an agency to fight human trafficking. I know it probably wouldn’t have prevented this girl but there’s people like her all over the world trapped and it sets me off.

It's a pretty dark thought to have but the only way I can imagine this goes on like this is if the people torturing the victim have a loose wire that prevents them from seeing a person as a living creature. And the actions are even perverted for an inanimate object.
Whatever the underlying issue is, they should all be left to punishment outside of the law. . . because the law is just not doing the crime justice. . . no matter what the "legal" punishment is.

It sounds like the feds have taken the case over. Based on the significantly lesser charges for one of them, it sounds like she is cooperating. They won't have to base it solely on the victim's testimony, whose condition may make for a difficult cross examination.

Right there with ya brother. This shite is the reason I didnt go into law enforcement when I got out of the military. I wouldve beaten these fks to death on the spot and then I wouldve been the mofo in prison
