17 Thunder Storm Warnings and
1 Tornado Warning as of 4pm, and we’re still probably 2 or so hours until it’s really supposed to ramp up.

Good thing about where these are firing off rn is there’s not much there. Larned is the only community in that warning ive heard of and that’s just from working in high school sports here.

Justin Michaels on The Weather Channel is the worst. The dude is like an actor. Very dramatic tone in his voice at all times.

ETA: He also calls Kansas, “Can’s arse”.

Ha no about a mile north of Seward. I think the population of Seward is around 30 people.

Passed through Larned once when we spent the day in Dodge City

Makes sense. Place is just desolate. I’ve been to great bend once and wondered how people that live further outside of there do it. I get it’s nice to not be in a city but to have no options for groceries and everything even decently close can’t be fun.

Watching this general area for any storms to form over the next couple of hours. Any storm that forms and establishes itself will be entering a violent environment. The farther south a storm forms, the better chance it has to become a problem.

Its nice for a week or two. Talk about getting away from people.

Yea its a 10 mile run to either Great Bend or St John for fuel and groceries.

Those are the towns you've gotta zoom way in to even see.

Noticed it seems like the line has slowed way down.
