What the hell is this nonsense? I've seen parents on Facebook, I know Facebook sucks, posting about all of the cool gifts they got their kids for the 4th. This shite has already gotten out of control with Easter presents like its Christmas, but is giving presents on the 4th spreading? Or is that just my trashy friends on Facebook being stupid?

My mother-in-law gets my kids a small gift basket for most holidays if we do something with them. I'm sure we'll get to her house tomorrow and she'll have a basket of sparklers, some American t-shirt, and other small American themed items from the Dollar Tree in it. She enjoys it and it's never anything extravagant, so it doesn't bother me.
