4 WW2 vets to get French Legion of Honor medal at WW2 museum tomorrow

11 a.m. - The French Legion of Honor Medal will be presented to WWII veterans Private John Allen, Jr.; Staff Sergeant Frank T. Bostwick; Technical Sgt. 5 Gerald C. Braud and Private First Class Solomon Scott. With a speech by WWII veteran Bill Clark, President of The Naval Minewarfare Association.

can't even imagine what that would have been like, a friend of my dad's was on one of the first waves of the attack, he was one of eight out of his company to survive

Man, that is damn awesome! We talk pretty frequently of war heroes...but how often do you see a real war hero. Tomorrow, you can meet 4 legit war heroes at once. If I were in that area, I would attend in a heartbeat.

My great uncle's memorial in Mitry Mory (just outside of Paris).
