SOmeone mentioned milk allergy. Is she on formula? If so wait a little while to see what he tunes do for you. If things get better but not dramatically, change formula
Yea she's on similac pro sensitive as she also has really bad heartburn so this is pretty much the only thing that stays down.

Think it's safe to say they aren't working.

Go all the way with Similac Alimentum.
If you don't notice a difference in 72 hours, don't waste your money on buying more.
If you do notice a difference, the high cost is worth every penny.

You need to have your pediatrician give you a referral to see a pediatric ENT. My daughter had 6 ear infections last year (she's 17 months), and we just had to finish a round of antiobiotic shots after 2 rounds of oral antibiotics did not clear up her double ear infection. Tubes are most likely the next step.
Got them last Friday

But what do I know? I'm just an OT mom and you were clearly looking for doctors/dads advice
Very true haha. I always just think of the OT has dudes drinking beer and bullshitting. I forget cool mom's, such as yourself post as well. Going change right away haha

Yes and no. They could never get the full affect as her ear infections never went away which in turn would just continue to cause URI

I’d ask your pediatrician about giving her Zyrtec.

tubes should help ear infections. if she is having mucous in her nose are you using saline and sucking it out? if not start asap. Saline in the nose, and get a nosefrida and suck it out before bed, and when she wakes up, also zantac if she has heartburn issues. My 6month old took us a while. Changed formula like 5 times, finally got on zantac for heartburn, and gas drops. And use nosefrida and TONS better

All day. All night. Middle of the night. We do it.

You don't have a humidifier running in her room? If not, definitely get one. That helped ours out but she still had a lot of URI's. Even had a short stay in a hospital. She's 18 months now and getting over another ear infection. Still might need tubes but i'm not looking forward to that.

Don't get me started on this topic haha. We've done it several times but mom still feels the need to hold her.
I totally get that though! I think after about 8 months my daughter started sleeping thru the ear infections (which sucked in a way b/c we had trouble figuring out when she had them). It's sad, but I think she's used to the discomfort at this point because it's the norm. Our pediatric ENT visit is next week, and I'm so ready for tubes.
Do yall have a Nose Frieda? It's horrifying and intriguing all at the same time, but when my daughter has a stuffy nose I'm OCD about using it and clearing the nasal passages to avoid that sinus and ear pressure.
