That's too long for first camp. .I'd start with a week.
We are looking into Interlochen in Upper peninsula Michigan. But the two week camp with acting and dance classes is $6k a kid.
Crazy.
There is a good one in Bama I went to as a kid. Forgot name.

I can’t imagine hating my kids so much I want to get rid of them for two months.

Ehh.. why dont you take them hiking , camping, kayaking, etc yourself.
I like raising and spending time with my kids myself. That's a big part of what makes them mine.
Went kayaking with my son two weeks ago. Going with my daughter, wife, son, and my parents Sunday. Went camping last fall. Going again this fall. Etc.
My parents were the same, we went and did stuff like that as as a family all the time. Some of my greatest memories are from camping and hiking in the smokies mountains as a kid. And all the things I learned from my mom and dad doing it. Your kids will grow up with those memories... but they will be of counsuler Jack and Jill.

Camp Anawanna, we hold you in our hearts. And when we think about you (it makes me wanna fart!)

Too long. Two weeks away is plenty. Look up Camp Olympia.

I attended camp Olympia growing up, had some awesome times there. My sisters went to the all girls camp Waldemar in the summers and loved it.
