A 24-year-old Japanese porn star who looks like a child is making a name for himself in the industry despite only being able to stand for five minutes at a time.

Computer programmer-turned-producer and actor Kohey Nishi, 24 has revealed he is happy to "fill the gap in the market" with his unique selling point for x-rated films.

Standing 109cm tall, or 3ft 6', Nishi has a progressive incurable condition called mucopolysaccharidosis and still suffers from a brain tumour he had as a child.

Nishi - also known as Nishikun - entered the industry after becoming drinking buddies with a porn director who introduced him to entrepreneurs.

The feedback was obvious as he was told: "You are very unique".

Nishi's credits include starring roles in titles including 'Nice to Meet You. I am Nishikun, a 109cm Porn Director' and 'Having Sex in the Magic Mirror Box Car with a Female College Student with F-Cup Breasts Who Wants to Be a Kindergarten Teacher'.

He describes the latter film as a favourite for fans because it was very erotic and unique and that he was "the only person who could make it!"

Nishi said he still struggled to get erections when the camera starts rolling like any actor - not because of his condition but because of all the crew surrounding him.

He said he was happy to market himself as someone who looks like a child.

"I was once told that 'Your videos seem dangerous as you look a real kid on screen'," he told Vice .

"But I have considered that my works prevent children from being sexually abused, just like war movies and shooter video games can contribute to peace."

He has not been injured by the shoots but admitted he does suffer muscle pains aftewards.

Fortunately, he adds, his line of work has helped his love life. Nishi said he has more chances to be asked out for a date by ladies.

He told short men not to focus on their weaknesses but instead focus on increasing their strengths.
