How is that relevant? Without the law, you and I wouldn't be citizens either.
It was about the specific federal law mentioned earlier and also not being due to the constitution. You are taking something out of context and incorrectly applying it.
Keep up if you are going to try and restart a debate.

Oh shove it up your arse. If there was a black and white unity handshake at this year's super bowl, people would be calling it "white guilt George Floyd black supremacy propaganda." Don't fricking lie.

He said Jamaica, Canada, Brazil, United States too. Those aren't Latin American countries. You're just focusing on the parts that you wanted to focus on because it destroys your narrative to tell the truth.

Usually had surprise guests appear who were similarly mainstream.
Bad Bunny has had more Billboard Hot 100 top 40 songs (41) than any of those people you named. Prince is the only other one with 40. But go on about Bad Bunny not being "mainstream" in the US.

This is awesome. When the virtue signal doesn't donit for you, take to dreaming of millions of Americans getting a horrible disease and dying in the next decade, all because they don't care for Spanish autotune rap.
You people are off your fricking rockers.
the fact that folks die and become victims of dementia as they age is simply a fact my friend. No one is dreaming of it happening, it just does. I am sorry you are so thinned skin that facts hurt your fee fees but thats a your problem, not an anyone else problem....

You need to objectively learn the legal differences between the United States and its unincorporated territories
I do know the legal differences - you have no clue what I do and don’t know - you need to learn how it all actually works before you say something is not a part of something
You have shown over and over again that you are willing to ignore the laws, Supreme Court rulings including what can and cannot be removed per the constitution, and the common sense that there are only 50 United States which doesn’t include any unincorporated territories which includes the shite hole island Puerto Rico. Even a citizen born in one of the United States who moves Puerto Rico loses ability to vote for president or vote for voting members to represent him or her in Congress. Why is that? Because it’s not the same as being a resident in one of the United States of America.
Puerto Rico even competes internationally in events like the Olympics separately from the US.
PR is unincorporated territory or basically property owned by the US which is why all Dems and Republicans should support ending this colonialism and set PR free. We also don’t need it.

How is stating that I hate a genre of music being emotional or pulling emotional shite out of my arse?
You incorrectly stated why I didn’t want gay bunny to perform, and I corrected you on my reasoning.

I guess you just overlooked the English speaking part of my comment or that I wasn’t even responding to a gay bunny post. I was responding to someone who stated: “ The NFL usually picks an artist that football fans don’t like. They are trying to get more eyeballs from those who don’t care about the game and wouldn’t watch otherwise. That said, it was terrible.”
My entire post to that comment is below.

This is more with their recent choices. When they decided to make it an event to stop losing audiences (due blowouts happening early and often) they started out with Michael Jackson and have had Prince, Janet Jackson & her tit with Timberlake, ZZ Top, U2 with a moving & patriotic 9/11 tribute, Bruno Mars (who might be 2nd best performance behind Prince), Lady Gaga on her own, and many others who would have been pretty mainstream English speaking and Top 40. Usually had surprise guests appear who were similarly mainstream. The biggest fail was the Blackeyed Peas who had peaked years earlier and also were just horrible that day.
So where is any Bunny reference besides what you interjected into this conversation in this thread???
Also, why did you selectively leave out Michael Jackson when partially quoting from my post?

The argument that he doesn't speak English means he isn't mainstream in the US is retarded. He was the 5th most streamed artist in the US alone in 2025. Of the 4 in front of him, Taylor Swift has her fanbase wrapped up by the NFL already with the Travis Kelce relationship, Drake and his beef with Kendrick and general "he's a pedo" label knocks him out, Morgan Wallen would be an actual good choice for a halftime show IMO, and Kendrick did the halftime last season.
For reference SZA is #7 and Tyler, the Creator is #9 and I can't tell you a single song the sing, but that doesn't mean they aren't mainstream.
Using the modifier "English speaker" is arguing disingenuously to arrive at the conclusion you want.
quote:

Because no one in their right mind would try to argue Bad Bunny is as big or important to music and pop culture as Michael Jackson, especially in his prime.

Did I specifically state Spanish speaking? Or did I state the Spanish “América“? “América” is a term many spanish speakers use and is not about where spanish is spoken which would obviously include Spain.
quote:
During the Super Bowl halftime show today, he said “God Bless America,” but don’t be fooled into thinking this was some kind of conciliatory gesture.
He proceeded to list names of countries in what Spanish speakers consider a single continent called “América,” making it clear that he intended to shift the meaning of the phrase from an expression of patriotism for the United States to praise for mostly Latin American countries.

Why do you keep making points that were not part of the side conversation you interjected yourself in? You are the one pushing Bunny into this
To make it easy for you this was the comments you interjected yourself into
But you specifically said. So why leave out Michael Jackson?? Also, you included Prince. Is bunny as important as Prince to music and pop culture?

This was the first true event type of halftime performance to keep audiences.Loading Twitter/X Embed...

It even had a racial message - Doesn’t matter if you’re black or white including a black and white hand shaking on clothes pulled across the people in the field. More unity focused and less victim blacks by those bad whites.
Here is a link to the U2 halftime performance where even Bono flashed our flag.

You are a mentally weak little man who is just smart enough to not sound stupid, but not smart enough to make a coherent argument when challenged.

The NFL formula is "how can we get viewers to stick around during halftime." Want to see proof, go look at Super Bowl LIV halftime show. No one gave a shite that there was Spanish during that one.

Debatable currently, but he is certaintly trending in that direction.

The god bless America should not be used to show bunny was being patriotic or focused on the US like some have stated.
At least you admit it wasn’t about Spanish speaking countries like you originally replied to me about and about the Spanish word “América” for the new world as one continent.

This has to be stated every year. Fans of football won't stop watching football because they don't like the musical act of a halftime show.
