Sounds like you want to get your sister framed for murder on your way out.
Motive? Your share of the property.
Means? Memory foam pillow.
Opportunity? Shared residency.
Pretty ingenious, albeit it twisted, plan if I do say so myself.

never... ever... do business with relatives and friends

If ginger would start hiding her own Easter eggs soon maybe we wouldn’t have to read these made up scenario threads.

There is NO suicide pact. There will be very explicit DNR paperwork that covers everything and makes it very clear what we want.
You obviously have a lot of experience with Alzheimer's patients, so you know that there can be a long period of time when a patient is completely mobile and active (and often putting themselves and possibly others at risk), but they are no where close to requiring life extending medical treatment.
1) What good is even the most detailed and explicit Do Not Resuscitate order going to do for that person?
2) Assuming she gets Alzheimer's, are you just planning on not feeding or cleaning your sister until she eventually falls down the steps and cracks her head open or into the water and drowns?

I was about to say, my grandmother could eat, survive, and other stuff, but couldn't remember us or what she did 5 hours before.

Can’t believe I’m the first downvote on this! Y’all are some janky motherfrickers.

Alzheimer's affects different people different ways and I think there are different types of Alzheimer's that progress at different rates.
My neighbor's mom had Alzheimer's and she was able to live at home through most of her illness. She eventually had to move to a dementia facility in the final stages, but that was 6 or 8 months out of 6 or 8 years. She had a caring family and a good quality of life.

The saying is “don’t LOAN money to friends or relatives” and it has nothing to do with business ya idiots!
Hell, I wouldn’t go into another business if I wasn’t friends or relatives with someone as a part of it.

Mom went from an active person to utterly disabled within months. It progressed so quickly mentally and physically. The first time that she didn't recognize me broke my heart.
Our "camp" plan is our attempt to best deal with what may come and what we have been dealt. The three of us each lost everything in the same week in 2017 but we survived. I almost lost my sister this weekend so we are more determined than ever to make this happen.

I would never let her suffer, just never. I will do whatever she asks of me as final wishes.
Right now I am honestly trying to keep her alive and help her build a happy life again. She was married over 3 decades to my BIL and is struggling so hard with the grief now. I almost lost her this weekend. It's breaking my heart. I want her to be happy again.
I can't fix it all overnight but i can keep working at it each day.

People with dementia usually suffer mentally before the physical symptoms set in
I don’t understand how you think you can keep her from suffering with a DNR

I said DNR but what I really meant a DNR with a very explicit living will that covers just about every possibility. It made mom's intentions very clear which helped a lot because all I wanted to do was honor her wishes.

I guess that also makes him my rebound man, so we have that in common
We have been together over a year now. We are both well matched in that neither of us wants to fight and we both love doing things for each other. We appreciate each other immensely.
Maybe one day i will get up enough nerve to tell y'all how we met.
( No, it wasn't on the Jerry Springer show. It's even better than that)

Split the lots and have your separate camp from theirs. No matter what people say it ruins friendships or you will hate yourself trying to keep things in that you dislike to not piss others off.

Just go in even three ways. You pay a third, your wife pays a third, and your mistress pays the last third. Duh.

Why y'all even respond to this lunatic? None of this is real...
