Balance means wildlife management. You called me a twat because you are upset about something, I'll let that slide.

If a Hilton Head resident in a retirement community is refilling her bird feeder and a large alligator comes out of the lagoon and kills her, it was her fault for refilling her bird feeder.
Possibly the dumbest part of your post.
But it happened last year... . literally... LINK /
It actually happened twice last year, in the same jurisdiction, last year. Old ladies getting killed by alligators in Hilton Head. It's a real thing.

They also believed sharks were venomous back in those days and doctors were hesitant to work on bite victims.
Didn't realize that.

Well I guess I’ve learned something.

This thread has jumped the shark.

Was at Santa Rosa Beach over Memorial Day w/e and me and my BIL saw a single shark out past the second sandbar, but he was far enough out to not be a problem.

So does this mean the water will be closed all weekend? We just got to Miramar.

There are always tons of tigers, bull and hammer head sharks at these beaches.

Tons, huh? Hyperbole much?
That looks like a "ton" of sharks to me assclown

My brother’s friend witnessed one of the attacks and said a girl was attacked 30-40 yards by a 9 foot shark and apparently may have lost a limb. A guy apparently had to wrestle the shark and pull her to shore. “Blood everywhere” and apparently the girl’s mom passed out after seeing it. No idea how accurate that is but it’s what I was told.

And for some reason you are the only person in here talking about it. That should tell you something, maybe that it has next-to-nothing to do with today's shark attacks and is comparable in no way.

Airlifted? Airlifted? Do you know how much that costs? Just a guess...$15K?
Transporting my 13 yo niece from Winfield to Lourdes WCH was about $16k.

Easy, Chief Brody. There are not tons of Tigers, Bulls, and Hammerheads. Most people are lucky to spot a single shark. If there were tons, beaches would be closed. They exist in the area, but let's not get carried away.

The sharks always made our deep sea fishing trips miserable because they would eat our catch while pulling the fish we hooked up out of the water- I fricking hate sharks because of that.

Is this your attempt to crawfish on your statement that my comment about old ladies in Hilton Head getting killed by alligators is "ridiculous?"
Are you so obtuse in your opinion that a statement like "when you have more sharks in the water, there will be more shark attacks" or "when there's more alligators in the pond, there will be more alligators attacks" is considered wrong?
I think it is common sense.
More sharks = more shark attacks.
More alligators = more alligator attacks.
More coyotes = more coyote attacks.
More velociraptors = more velociraptor attacks.
Basic logic.

Picture we took last week in PCB. Our condo was on the 20th floor and we saw a ton of sharks cruising amongst the swimmers.

That’s a good video. Never thought of doing that. Crazy to see so many Tigers so close in.
