Mental note:

DO NOT wear red to a rodeo just in case...

Hopefully, everyone is ok. Unfortunately, I’m sure there will be a lawsuit or two out of this.

That bull lept that fence better than most equestrian horses.

That must be somewhere rural. Those people look way more normal than what I think of Oregon.

Outside of Eugene and Portland, Oregon is really conservative.

The majority of the west coast that isn’t big city looks like that.
There’s a lot more conservative people out west than you think. You just don’t hear about them as much b/c they’re too busy enjoying life in the most beautiful area of our country.

Damn straight. Went whitewater kayaking Saturday, and a long hike in the mountains yesterday

Sisters is one of the nicest small towns you will find in the country and only 30 mins to Bend.

The rodeo is a very popular. Lots of people from all over Oregon.

shite, winter in Bend is awesome. Wife and I were there in December and it was still great.

Unfortunately one of the reasons we went was to do some snowshoeing, and they didn't have any damn snow up in the mountains yet.

I started my homework on Bend in the winters, snowboarding at Bachelor.

Fell in love with Bachelor over a few winter seasons, had to come really check it out.

We do a couple weeks every summer. I think June is the best because the wildfire risk is lower, but you do miss out on some of the higher elevation trails that still have snow cover.

I grew up doing summers in Sunriver and the area has absolutely exploded over the last 10 years. Almost unrecognizable. They are going to need to expand the airport significantly.

Sun River area is where I’m looking possibly to buy a home.

The locals told me COVID really skyrocketed everything in Bend as an onslaught of non locals flocked here to be outdoors.

Ya, we'll eventually go back in the summer, but there's just so much to do and see here locally in Idaho. I mean I have a whitewater creek with Class 2-3 rapids a 100 yards from my house. I'm twenty minutes from the Snake River Canyon. Forty minutes from the Sunny Slope wine region.

Exact same thing happened here in the Boise area.

We've been in Arizona/Vegas, and it's hot AF.

I can't wait to get back up there...

Went to visit the wife's parents in Phoenix last summer. That sucked. Reminded me too much of being deployed.
