Not I. We grew up thinking we would have short lives, and nuclear war was imminent. The iron curtain was something I couldn't fathom coming apart.

I will say this, the Olympics were far better when the US and USSR competed against each other.

Was in Berlin in August, the Wall (die Mauer Berlin) is a big tourism deal there.

I’d recommend the Hotel Adlon Kempinski, it’s right there at the Brandenburger Tor.

One of the greatest moments of 20th century politics.

There is a section of the Berlin Wall very close to President Reagan’s grave site at his Library. One side is covered with graffiti and the other is gray concrete. It makes quite a statement.

Reagan was the GOAT.
