Just like the convenience of picking up my unsophisticated modern razer and finish shaving in 45seconds.

I'm afraid that would be me...

I watched a youtube of a guy that shaved 3 f'in times! with a safety...applied cream all 3 times...and I'm like..WTF! my showers don't even take that long

I have everything for the novelty of shaving every now and again. I did learn about a better brush and better cream because of my excursion into safety razors.

In reality I get a better shave for nearly the same price with a Mach 3. A blade lasts me about 6 months and I have thicker hair that needs twice a week trims for inspection.

It's not hard to shave with a safety razor. In 8 months, I nicked myself once. You won't butcher your face as long as you pay attention. I get virtually the same results as with a modern multi-blade. There is one weakness for me, though. I find safety razors don't do as well right under the nose and lips as a multi-blade. There are spots where it's tough to get in there with it.

Huh...been using Dollar Shave Club for about 2 1/2 years now and absolutely 110% satisfied with them. I think I will just stay where I'm at

That's the whole point. It isn't a better shave.

It is more involved so perceived quality is there.

Buy $40 electric. Use for 5 years. Profit.

And no, you don't end up with as close a shave as when you use the modern stuff.

Closer isn't always better, especially for people with sensitive skin. You can be more prone to ingrown hairs.

Electric just doesn't work for me. I have tried really expensive ones. Pisses me off too, I would love to use them.

I go to the barber every Monday morning (and before special events) for a crisp shave.

Yeap, the 4 and 5 blades cut the hair beneath the skin. If you are like me, I am prone to getting pimples, which are basically ingrown hairs on my neck.

I just don't shave everyday any more, cuts down on that, and mostly use electric on the neck.

This post reeks of insecurity. Did you just get your first facial hair? I wear a collar to work, and rock a SERIOUS beard. Can you even grow one? Why shave?

Yes you do, I had this set up for about 6 months and finally gave up bc I cut myself every damn time.

I have no idea how this is possible. Should be able to get it down within a few shaves.

Do not.. I repeat do not try to unscrew the head off by using your fingers on the outside of the blade. When they slip you will slit your finger(s) wide open. Use a towel to hold the head.

As far as a shave goes this is by far the best way. I have thick hair and this cuts better than any 3, 4, 5, or 6 blade razor I have ever used including Gillett and Harry's. It takes a while to get use to and you will cut yourself, but you will get a better shave.
