Preventing healthy people from exercising. Arguably the dumbest thing I’ve ever witnessed

24hour right now. Will suck if it closes, my membership is just $20/year.
You mean a month? If $20/ year its a no wonder they are going bankrupt.
24 hour doesn’t really have any employees right? Like one person that works 40 hours a week or something and the rest of the time it’s just a code to let yourself in? If so, I can see why they would get hammered by the Covid closure.

Does the PPP give a type of low performing locale bailout for some while ignoring the mom and pops who never got a shot at getting in line to get a dime?
What mom and pops got ignored? PPP still has available money last time I checked.

This won't be a topic here or on PTB but keep your ears open re: Mnuchin and the resistance to FOIA on the PPP. Just keep it in the back of your mind.
It’s like that because Schedule C filers would be open to their entire private information being shared.

That's not even close to accurate
FOIA can easily redact that crap. It's amazing to me the gymnastics some of you go through to discount the fact that transparency is a bad thing. This is tax payer money and on the PPP apps it literally says all information can and will be shared. Just admit it. You don't care because Mnuchin is a Trump guy. Anyone else and this would be a big deal.

You realize even if you redact everything but the PPP amount for a Schedule C filer, the filer's income is now public?
There was even a thread on the Money Talk about how a competitor was going to use PPP information to acquire new hires from their competition.

I'd have no problem with our Schedule C filing business being listed as a recipient of the funds. I would have a problem with our tax return being made public in any redacted format.
ETA: I notice you ignored my response to your mom & pop claim.

The one I went to in Dallas always had like 40 employees at the front desk for some reason
And you type the code in at the desk, not the door

Mine's opening up the end of this month, but the whole "workout reservation" thing is gonna get old, quick

It is already old. You only have an hour to workout before they kick you out.

Last I checked competition is a good thing. Good for the company hiring employees away from their competitors and paying them more.

Those lease payments on gym equipment are no joke and come every month. As does rent and payroll.
One hiccup and you're fricked.

AnyTime Fitness is where it’s at. Fine Milfs, hardcore free weights. Workout classes during the evenings. Spacious parking with ample security cameras. No need to wear masks. 24 hours availability. No alarms going off. Mature members without the teenage crowd. Televisions. Cleanliness.

Nope $20/year for the rest of my life or until they go under. I am sure they will use bankruptcy to kill off memberships like mine probably.
