I’ve never been to Haiti or Somalia either. But I have no desire to go there just to see what it’s all about. Pictures pretty much show me all I need to know about the “experience”. Only pictures don’t have smells.
pictures cannot do it justice, there’s an overwhelming amount of kindness, peace, awesome parties, and lifelong friendships that are built there

I absolutely love drugs. All drugs. And can dive off deep into the abyss. However, 24days at burning man sounds like a living nightmare.
I enjoy the same but you don’t have to go for 24D, you can go for 3 or 4 and have the time of your life that none of your friends will ever have the experience to do so, I will caution you if you do go once it’s very likely you could get hooked

How many more years do you think you'll continue to work there? Are you employed by Burning Man corporation or contractor (or neither)?

[quote]I assume you’re EM with EMS background?
You are correct!

Any unique challenges for burning man relative to other mass participation events? We can handle a lot of cases, however the most severe are stabilized then flown out, the helo is usually close by.
What qualifications do you expect from medical volunteers? Paid staff are fully credentialed in the state of Nevada. MDs, mid levels, RNs, Paramedics and EMTs, volunteer staff have to hold the same credential, but they are not required to be Nevada credentialed
Do you carry Ativan for the people tripping too hard and having a panic attack? We carry various types of sedatives and the most commonly used as ketamine.
How many AEDs do y’all keep in that city? All the volunteer staff have full medical kits that include AED’s, I can’t tell you how many but they are quite a few.

I will go as long as I’m physically capable of going and what I require Assistance I’ll probably join the mobility camp until I become too much of a burden. I worked for a medical contractor who is employed by Burning man.

I’ve dabbled in all of it, there are some that smell and some that are quite clean. I’ve dealt with homeless my entire career that are much more smelly.

Twenty four? I feel like you should lead off with the presentation as opposed to a q&a
