So now it's a murder charge.

I bet the a-hole is crawling even further into his hole after hearing the recent news. Only a matter of time before he gets outed.

Would this make the charge different for whoever is hiding him?

The guy I know messaged me on FB and said he had talked to police and gave them the names of his friends and all the work info he had.
Dude has no cellphone and no Facebook.

Calls from his mom's phone.
I hope police are posted up at all of his families houses.

yes, accessory to murder is greater than accessory to attempted murder.
Looking at 5-10

A total of 460 people were the victims of shootings, both and fatal and non-fatal, throughout 2013, which averages to a shooting about every 18 hours in New Orleans. This was during a year that saw one of the lowest murder rates in decades in the city.
That's just fricking ridiculous and can't be defended.

you're right, murders down but shootings are up.

Let's just be thankful they don't do target practice in the hood.

It seems like they rarely charge people with that though...more of an intimation tactic to get people to tell them where suspect is.

The killer is white?

21 YO Victim Dies; What a tragedy

Very Sad

I am getting to the point where I think they should just take them out right there and forget trials and prisons.

well then what about the wrongly accused?

I saw a guy on NOLA.com saying we should get rid of juries and give the judge all the power to convict.

Actually, the article says shootings are down too but it's still sickening.

I can see why some would want that but it would completely screw up our judicial system...which has to be the best in the world.

Why cant we get HD cameras in the quarter, and shouldn't there be at least two on every block on bourbon? Its the most crowded/busiest place in nola and yet we have the shitiest cameras known to man

I am kind of disgusted that the police officer didn't perform CPR. I would assume they are all trained in it. Hell teenage lifeguards had to learn it.
