The first thing about taking care of a problem is to admit there is a problem and until the black community stops sheltering criminals with "no snitching" and "he was a good boy" (a la Merrit Landry case) then we will never solve this problem.

Not all poor people are the problem. In fact in my opinion much of the blight is due to the white owners not wanting to put money into their units as they just do the minimums needed to get section 8 money,
