It will probably make some headlines later today.
Sadly, since it was the usual animals shooting and being shot at, I agree that most don't care.
Let a white couple from Ohio get shot and killed on Royal Street in the daytime and then people will care.

Being from the area, you grew up watching the news with your parents every single night with at least one murder a day, sometimes 3 or 4. It got to the point where nobody wanted to hear about it anymore, and frankly, nobody cares. frick, it doesn't matter to me at all

Actually several of the tourists shot were white and one of the now being reported white females from out of state who was talking along with her husband was killed. The shooter was firing randomly into the crowd. Most if not all were innoncent bystanders. Shooters were black.

I was thinking the wrong side of Franklin. Yeah that is St. Roch and the 7 there.
Just as bad in many areas.
That area between Lowe's and Almonaster is pretty shitty too.

Well, who the hell really wants to hear negative shite about their city on national news?
It isn't like national news stories will change the hood rat culture here.
Tourism as well as all other aspects of the city is still kicking arse and growing, so no, I would prefer it not be all over national news.
I do care that it happened and it pisses me off just fyi.
