I was gonna say Magnolia beach and just make a Saturday of it..but I have to agree, virgin islands would be better.

We stayed at the Hilton Waikoloa Village for our anniversary one year. Loved it.

Cooper island is a great low key kind of place. Great beaches and great food
Tortola is a bigger island with more stuff... bars restaurants etc.
I would suggest little dix bay on virgin Gorda or scrub island. I've stayed at both and they are both fantastic. Especially if your in an anniversary trip.

Costa Rica is really a special place, but it's not the white sand beaches of the Caribbean, so some people, women especially, are turned off. That being said, it's a wonderful place with beaches and jungles.

Just spent our anniversary in they keys. Like others have said, not beachey, but unless you actually want to go swim at the beach or sit in the same, you aren't missing out. Plenty of poolside lounging with great ocean views.
We did not stay in KW, but visited. Stayed in a much quieter place that was pretty nice in Duck Key. I plan to go back every few years since we really enjoyed it. Few things though. Our trip was in April so it was not overly hot yet. Also, it wasn't crowded since kids were still in school.

What a coincidence, my wife and I just had our 20th and are doing the exact same thing, leaving this weekend. We are going to Riviera Maya which is the Mexican mainland off of Cozumel, south of Cancun. We looked at the resorts for the best kind of "pampering" spa-type places available and Riviera Maya was the only place that had several of the highest rated in the world (as opposed to maybe just one). We decided to really go for broke on this one and we've never been there but it looks amazing.
