I'm not into rap so it's nothing for me. What I don't understand is you have these old school people then this Lamar guy. Who the hell is he compared to them?

I prefer music for SB halftime shows. Rap ain't music, just some kind of guttural muttering into a microphone.

Wonder how many times the N word will be used? Over/Under on 10 references?

would have just preferred Eminem ft. Dre, but this has a lot of potential. Could rank up there with Prince and Gaga.

You think a bunch of rappers in their 50s will rank up there with Prince?

Everyone will conveniently forget about Eminem's interesting history regarding rapping about homosexuals, violence, and other things.

If it's just old school rap then could be one of the best ever

As someone who's seen a surprising amount of live rap, it's usually horrendous.

frick the NFL, stop supporting that crap.

I doubt you were even a fan anyway. Rating are higher than ever, the league hasn't had as many really good QBs as it has now and you are upset over what? Because some people did some things you didn't like?

As for as the HT show. It will not be ranked #1 or #2. #1 will always be Prince. Something about him playing Purple Rain... In the rain will never be topped.

Then Michael Jackson had a really good one. But I am looking forward to this one.

The last time I saw a Super Bowl halftime show that was worth watching was Prince. His performance was refreshing after years of crap before him, and has been followed by years of crap since.

I don’t mind a little old school hip hop/rap, but these kind of acts just don’t translate well to a live show for me.

Lot of lypsyncing. The last couple Eminem performances I watched they weren’t even trying to hide it. Dude is like 50

I don't listen to rap by choice ever. Out of these, I recognize snoop because he is in all sorts of commercials and crap these days. Obviously the white dude is Eminem and I would not recognize him otherwise. The chick is the chick. The other two I cannot distinguish between.

Who is the intended audience for this show? Is this to try and get the non regular football watchers to watch? This line up certainly does not appeal to the common NFL viewer.

Gen X and early Millennials.

It wasnt just black kids listening to The Chronic.
