Emission problems and alternator went out.

Emission pump bypass $150 and $20 for new alternator brushes isn't much of a problem for 14 year old truck.

If the frames not rusty you will have no problem selling it for a good bit more than you will be offered on a trade in.

GM truck experts....what you think?

It's a fantastic truck. The 6.2L V8 is a beast, and my favorite truck engine available at any manufacturer.

It's a fancier truck than I'd go for, but undoubtedly a great vehicle.

Well of course not. It’s an expense and a liability - even if you pay cash for it.

I just bought a 2020 GMC Denali 4x4 in August with all the stuff you mentioned for $52k. I know the one you're looking at is a '21 but I'd take that into consideration when they're talking price.

This was in Sugar Land, TX if it makes any difference

Majority of the time it's wasted but it's useful when you're sitting around drinking beer and fishing the pond, dove hunting, things like that.

Get the AT4 instead. It’s basically a Denali with an off-road package. I have a 2019 purchased last December and paid $55k before ttl. The 10 speed transmission is the tits. 25k miles with no issues

Growing up trucks were basic vehicles.

I paid 900 bucks for my first truck. It had a heater, AC didn’t work, bench seat, single cab, long wheel base. 350 small block, auto transmission and AM/FM radio with 1 speaker. 2wd

I remember driving it through the woods to a hidden lake towing a 16 ft bass tracker and a 4 wheeler in the bed. Wasn’t even a road to the lake but I made one, backed the boat in down a steep bank. Thought “no way I’m coming out of this”

Son of a bitch pulled that boat out without spinning a tire. Drove it over small trees (2 in diameter) to clear a path to the lake.

Like to see that nice Denali do that without thousands in damages

Bruh. You have to get the red Denali Yukon as well because your wife is taking the truck.

Maybe if I made a lot more money, I would buy one, but even then, I just think it’s foolish to spend that much on a vehicle.

Well then don't price out bigger SUVs, they make his truck price look cheap. Even the domestic large SUVs throw out the 80k price tag like its nothing. I'm not talking Cadillac or Lincoln either, I'm talking Ford and Chevy.
