10 ish years ago I started helping feed the homeless and I usually come home and make myself a nice NY strip
helping others really puts a smile on your face , so many people are so very grateful for a freshly made meal and to be able to sit down and eat in peace and warmth is something almost all of us take for granted to see people enjoy and share it with you and ou share the moment with them
its not about feeling luckier than them, its about the blessing to be a part of humanity

Happy Thanksgiving Klingler. I was thinking about your predicament and have a couple of thoughts. You are not alone because you are uncle kid toucher, A thief, or the cousin who farts a lot. You are alone because of logistics. That is not your fault.
There are tons of people alone on the holidays. Why don’t you organize a potluck? Not a big thing for thousands, or even hundreds, but get about five or six people together. You could probably have a really good meal and meet some decent people.
Anyway, just a thought. I hope everything rule smooth for you this year. Take care
