I was wondering if you had the heavy springs/swaybar package on yours with the BB? This one has the 550 springs on front and composite 360 on the rear, and BB swaybars. And though it handles quite well, the ride is very harsh with this SB. I'm think I'm going to go with more of a touring setup than what is installed now. What are you running with now?

I have #550 in the front (same springs I had w/ the BB) and a #360 composite spring in the rear. It rides and handles well. I'm not running a rear sway bar, and it's not needed as she sits.

Bilstein. The previous owner added the HD swaybars, OEM parts. He at one time was going to put a BB L71 in it but changed his mind after he did most of the suspension mods. Maybe I just need more cushion in the seat bottom

The A8 in my z06 works flawlessly. It's an amazing transmission. Granted, I had it tuned and AFM is disabled. That seems to be what's causing the tranny failures in these cars.

To the previous poster, the Bugattis are more like (Hyper) GT cars than track cars. Even with twice the horsepower (and an extra 1000 pounds of weight) and even on a horsepower track like the Nordschleife the ZR1 will almost certainly be faster. It won't, however, be faster in a straight line than the Chiron with its power and AWD advantage and the chassis tuning on the ZR1 is going to keep it from being a 1/4m wonder also. To put the Bugs in perspective the original Veyron is only about as fast as a current 911 S around the 'Ring (note you have to extrapolate the times since the Veyron numbers were set on the old 232m longer course).
