why do none of the other trucks have the optional boxes on the bed? Seems like a perfect use for otherwise completely wasted space.

I walked by an early 90s Toyota pickup today, and was a bit shocked how small it was. Our idea of a truck has increased tremendously the past few decades.

No man. I fix all makes and models, I just fix a lot more GM's than any other and its not because more of them are on the road.

You can get an 8' bed on new 1500 trucks, and obviously the heavier duty ones as well.

Let me guess, 85k price or higher?

You could get one now with an 8’ bed.

Yet another impractical vehicle for Ascension Parish dads.
The front is ugly in either case.

Sure can but it's all special order.
Does someone know what the 2 ft cost?
I ain't askin' for a friend.

We used to call my buddy's old F150 "The Dildo". It looked like this, but didn't have the stupid wheels

I think the T-100 is smaller than the current Chevy Colorado.

Well said. I've owned one truck in my life, and it was a small Tacoma. I'll probably own boring sedans the rest of my life. I like trucks, but I can't justify the cost when I probably won't need one except perhaps a few times a year. If I ever buy another boat, then I'm sure that would change things.
I'm still puzzled by assholes take so much pleasure in shitting on other people for how they spend their own money. Nearly all of us waste money on something that most others would deem completely unnecessary. Videos games, knives, guns, collectibles, luxury cars, a house that is far larger than we need... Something. I just don't understand the type of person that derives a sense of superiority by tearing down others.

Supposedly the next 3500 will share the same platform as this.

After checking YOU are right.
They don't offer it on double or crew cabs
Thanks for the info.

It’s only special order right now. It won’t be later. They always release crew cab short beds first because they sell best.
