I feel like it's a pretty lazy decision. Out of all the shite you could come up with, you conclude with a repeat? Weak
They repeat one every year. They want to compare the athletes to previous years. This one is just not fun.

Got 9 Hspu
I went lift and drop on deadlift throughout
Went by 5 on wall balls
And I actually cruised on rowing to make up time. Had about 2:30 left. I had no fcking idea that we are supposed to go into a complete handstand before starting. People are yelling and shite and I thought they were telling me
To extend more
by the time I figured it out I was so
Burnt.
This next workout is gonna be brutal

Did you guys see that Josh Bridges got hit with a major penalty on 16.4?
If you saw the video, he never fully extended his hips by standing up fully. His body never finished in a complete upright position, i.e. his shoulders were in front of the bar at the top of every lift when he went back down.
His 330 score was reduced to 280.
If you're going to video yourself, you damn better make sure you complete the movements.

Damn......I noticed in his vid that it didn't look like he was extending his hips all the way.
Bro repped the shite out of it....

Everybody was ripping him online for his lack of full extension.
Posted on 3/24/16 at 9:49 pm to LSUAlum2001
he wasnt even the worse in the video, dude on the far left wasnt even standing up fully. At least Bridges completed like 95% of most of the lift

16.5 is going to destroy me........I am so damn slow at those bar facing burpees. Laterals would have been much nicer.

The whole time I was watching that I was thinking there's no way that's a rep.
And like Lester said, the guy to the far left was even worse

That guy on the far left was doing upright rows.
They blamed it on the camera lens, but part of the CF judges course centers around video submission and what is acceptable. Clearly, this wasn't.
If you look at the judge to the far left, he should be slightly distorted as well if the lens effect were true and he is not. Also, the only time Josh fully stands up is when he puts the bar down. If the distortion was there, he would always have a hunched over look, and not just when he was deadlifting.
..and don't forget HSPUs. The guy to the right of Bridges had his feet wide as hell on several of his reps. No way did he achieve the proper height based on CFHQ standards.

I saw the video and certainly wasn't getting full extension, but his score hasn't been adjusted on the mainsite. Still showing 330. Matter of fact, he just posted a 7:15 on 16.5. That's almost a minute faster than Fraser!
Edit: nvmd I see an article below explaining his adjustment, but it still hasn't reflected in the leaderboard.

This one sucked so much arse.
I made the mistake of seasoning my eggs this morning and battled throwing up the entire time. Took me 18 minutes. Not doing this shite again.
The workout I did yesterday was a partner wod:
150 sit-ups
100 burpees
50 hspu
100 burpees
150 sit-ups
Split up however. I should've rested yesterday.
Just warning you guys, it's pretty tough.

Well, that's what happens when you start judging powerlifting and Olympic lifting movements for time instead of form.

I finished at 16:29. Thought I could get under 16, but I'll take it. Sure as hell not retesting.

Bridges knows the requirements.
He fricked up, but he will still easily win the SoCal region and advance to Regionals.

16:06. Pretty satisfied with that. I hate thrusters with a very intense passion.

I was 17:00.......that was awful.
