I spent 2 weeks in Italy in the summer of 2024. Was in Rome, Naples, Florence and many points in between.

I don't recall seeing any black people at all. Not that I was looking for any particularly, but if there had been hordes of them, I would have remembered.

London is a different story. I was there for a week in the summer of 2017. The flat we rented was actually in an Arabic part of town, just north of Marble Arch. That was actually really cool. All the old men sitting on the sidewalks smoking their hookahs. No one gave us any trouble. In fact, when I walked across the street to buy some gyro sandwiches, the line was very long, but some guy outside, when he found out I was American, escorted me to the front of the line. Everyone wanted to know if I voted for Trump, LOL.
