Yep walked right into this one. Mom OR wife not mom-slash-wife.

Nah. Something tells me those American broads are just a lot of drama and a lot less lesbionics.

Wrestling fans are weird ducks.

I don't understand how people can look down their nose at wrestling, then go play fantasy football or some shite like that. It's all entertainment. And a great bonding experience for fathers and sons. I still remember watching and going to a show with my dad. Good times.

I have a friend who started this same thread a while ago and got destroyed.
I've never met a pro wrestling fan in my life, besides when I was a kid. So why is there such a big fanbase for such shitty entertainment? Is it tounge in cheek?

It's scripted like a movie
Outcomes are predetermined
Some wrestlers before a big ppv event will go over all the spots the night before or day of.
Some just go with the flow and call it on the fly.
If you call falling 30-45 feet and landing g on a table or falling through the top of a cage onto tacks, fake; then be my guest.

Y'all are too young to understand.
Mid South wrestling was running frequent shows in every decent sized town in Louisiana back in the day. Growing up in Lake Charles, it was the biggest show in town (and I suspect it was the same in Lafayette, Monroe, Shreveport, Alexandria, thibodeaux, Houma, etc.). There were superstars coming to your town on a regular basis like Junkyard Dog, Jim Duggan, Ted Dibiase, Jake the Snake Robert, the Freebirds, etc, every month. The Saints sucked at the time, and I would wager that JYD was a more recognizable star than anyone on the Saints roster in these towns. It was a different era.
