Dome Public Safety Dept has armed commissioned guards. This incident took place in one of the locked storage areas under Claiborne, no one was breaking into the Dome.
Secrecy service will do a sweep of the building tomorrow night and afterwards, they will be swarming the place.

Any update? Crazy if someone can just get away with firing on armed security outside such a venue just days prior to a huge national event.

The poster right above you said it was not at the dome itself, but under the overpass. If you knew that area, it wouldn't surprise you that some thugs thought they could try something there at that time of the night.

I was told there are over 2000 secret service in town and TSA is doing security at the entrances. I plan to be in line around 430.
