The criminal should be charged with two counts of vehicular homicide. The entire Brusly community is turned upside down. I back the blue and he was doing his job.

Everyone has already seen your bullshite, dude. You're just doing this to satisfy your psychological disorder at this point. I'll pray for you in the new year.

Very sad situation. I know the family of one of the teenagers who passed.
I've said this a lot in the past, I don't understand the protocol for police chase, I have been at my brother's house, who lives along HWY 1 and watched a police chase a motorcycle and there were cars from the following departments.
West Baton Rouge, Port Allen City, Brusly City, Addis City, Iberville Parish and Plaquemine City. The bike turned onto the levee in Donaldsonville and eventually got away. White Castle City, Ascension Parish and Donaldsonville City had joined in the chase.
When I saw them.. And this was years ago, they were in a single file line.
I have no idea how the communication works between different departments, but do they need several cars from each department joining in?
From what I understand, this chase was briefly in Addis. The Addis police took off like a bat out of hell and that's when the accident happened.
They ended up catching these clowns on the bridge, but there is no need for a lot of police cars, driving at probably max speed or close to it. From what I understand the Addis police took it upon himself to go to the chase, I am not sure if that's true, but that's where protocol needs to be in place (if its not).
The small town police don't have much experience chasing cars. They need to stay in place once it is outside of their district unless help is requested. This is a sad situation.

He was caught on the bridge right? I sure hope they are prosecuted on this side of the river because Tony Clayton don't frick around. He makes Hillar Moore look like a reject.

Then I don’t think they would charge the kids with grand theft auto.
Dad’s insurance company will be on the hook

I don’t give a shite if he’s white, black, brown, or yellow. Tony Clayton is still one of the most aggressive prosecutors around and he doesn’t let stupid shite like ethnicity color (see what I did there?) his approach.

Shouldn’t matter where they’re apprehended if the wreck took place in WBR.

I live in Addis and I am wondering if there’s any way I can offer support

Don't run from the law.

Suspect is Tyquel Zanders. He was charged with home invasion, vehicle theft, and aggravated flight from an officer in EBR. In WBR, he was charged with two counts of manslaughter.

Thought we were just debating whether or not he “borrowed” his daddy’s car sans permission?

That's what I was wondering. If it is where the theft took place or the wreck.
I just want to be clear because I heard several stories. But my comments are based on an Addis police hitting the kids and the people who were being chased was eventually stopped on the Miss. River Bridge.
