Good, sharks are good for nothing. If not for that dude, orcas would have removed the shark’s liver and gave it a much more painful death.

Sharks, much like snakes, are an important part of our ecosystem. I understand killing a copperhead on your door mat, and I won't shed a tear about some random shark, but I wouldn't just kill one for sport either.

I've grown to be sort of a pacifist in my middle ages for some reason. I'll kill something for food or if it's a threat. Otherwise I'm not interested. I'd have dragged that thing back to the water.
