Can't say I've ever heard of Waysider described as "pricey." Maybe the Community Soup Bowl is more your speed.

You heard me. Waffle House is much better if that is the kind of junk that floats your boat. Over cooked vegetables from a can. Gross, gross, gross.

This is truth. Avoid City Cafe. I've been gone from Tuscaloosa for four years now, but I'm still amazed how many people in Tuscaloosa are convinced that it's a great meat and three place. Truth is, it's the only one in town.

Quik Grill is good for a lamb gyro and they're open until 3am. A block from Bryant Denny.

Mr. Bill's

So there's that.

You're clearly a prime example of the City Cafe clientele. Why would you fight me over some chicken fried steak, green beans, mashed potatoes, and sliced tomatoes?

Of those the only one worth a crap is TTown Cafe. The rest are places to avoid like the plague.

Brown Bag might be the best spot in Tuscaloosa County outside of the original Archibald's.

I do enjoy T-Town Cafe. Don't care much for the rest of them.

City Cafe is awesome because they pile your plate as full as they can get it, and you end up paying like $4. And I actually enjoy the food a lot. Their fried green tomatoes are legit.

Always travel in groups. When LSU wins, either A.) make sure you are around a lot of LSU fans or B.) gtfo of there.

For the 9-6 game, they had an old man call the cops on us accusing us of vadilizing his car. (this never happened, we were literally walking down the side walk and he approached with these accusations). Then some 25ish year old dude spit in my buddy's face and proceeded to sprint away yelling "eff you corn dogs".

On the other end of the spectrum though, there were several fans who were more than generous and it's a hell of a time before the game. Just remember you need to have thick skin.

This. They were relentless after the 9-6 game.

After the 2011 game, I was staying at a friend's house on 15th ST. Other than the 2010 Iron Bowl, it was the quietest I've seen Tuscaloosa post-game.

One rather drunk gentleman, stumbling about aimlessley, saw us drinking on the front porch. He exclaimed, "IF I SEE ANY OF YOU MOTHERfrickERS EATING A CORNDOG THIS YEAR I WILL DESTROY YOUR GODDAMN FACE!"

We also had what I now believe to be a hooker try to trick one of us in the party to sleep with her, with the expectation of her pimp coming in to demand compensation.

Bought some rolls from a bunch of black dudes in front of the Shell near BDS.

Odd night.

Big Bad Wolf nachos are legit. Decent bar scene. We get in early and go to the bars Thursday and Friday night. Don't be a big douche and you meet a lot of nice people.

I vividly remember a Tuscaloosa motorcycle cop pushing a female LSU fan on the ground because she was in the way. Outside of that, I really haven't seen too many crazy things happen in Ttown when LSU/UA play

If you will be in town by lunchtime on Friday, eat lunch at City Cafe. It's the bee's knees.

I agree Archibalds is better but that shack over on MLK in Northport is not exactly game day dining material.

Dreamland is very good. It is legendary for a reason. And both locations will do well for a group on Gameday weekend.
