That's my wheelhouse right there. I remember them having shag carpet rugs in the shape of a foot on the floor. Walls of carpet. Wierd smell.

My '70s Ford Products:
'73 Mustang (base 302 2V Coupe)
'74 Maverick (250 I6, Coupe) Parents bought new for us kids
'76 F-150 Long Bed in the '80s & early '90s for a projects truck.
All forgettable but OK basic transportation.
IMO GM & Ford were neck-and-neck in that decade.
ETA: Pics-

That van paint job is bad arse.
The Pinto paint fails IMO though. The stripes should either go to the front of the hood like the van or just keep going straight to the headlights. Crossing them over near the windshield looks weird to me.
