You map nerds like me should enjoy this site. It's VERY cool.
It's fun to compare maps from different decades on my monitors side by side at work when I'm feeling lazy. You can watch the city grow by looking at these maps. shite like that makes my dorky arse giddy.

You can make out where the makings of the lake next to Miller and the other LSU dorms intersected Highland Road.

When I went to LSU the deaf and blind school was right behind our house on Harwich. Once a week or so they'd have 2 of them out there on a tandem bicycle. I guess one deaf and one blind working on communication or something. We would go out there and get high as shite watching them from the backyard
